Billie Jo McCurdy, 63, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born January 28, 1956, in Morgantown a daughter of the late William Franklin Kirk and Bessie Joan Dalton.

 

Billie Jo attended Central United Methodist Church in Fairmont and retired from Walmart’s Deli.  She loved time with her family along with a grand dog, Lucy, and grand cat, Domino.  She also enjoyed traveling, watching Game of Thrones, and playing UNO and Rummy.

 

Billie Jo is survived by daughter, Sheila McClain and husband, Thomas; granddaughter, Hailey McClain; brother, William Kirk, and girlfriend, Brenda Hines of Ohio; sister, Brenda Moyle of Morgantown; nephew, Chad Kirk and Matthew Moyle; niece, Jennifer Riggle and husband, Adam; and best friend, Pamela Stefko Hallas.

 

In addition to her parents, Billie Jo was preceded in death by a nephew, Brent Kirk, and niece, Brandi Moyle.

 

Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with a private family committal service at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
