Frank Fominko, 82, of Granville, passed away Friday, November 29, 2019, at Morgantown Health and Rehab Center. He was born August 1, 1937, in Morgantown, the son of the late Tony and Julia (Kovach) Fominko.

Frank served proudly in the United States Army. He was then employed by The Creasey Company in Clarksburg for over 25 years. His favorite past times included gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by a stepdaughter, Ann (Mike) Stansberry, of Morgantown, and three grandchildren, Zack, (Kylie), Chris and Taylor Stansberry. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and several sisters and brothers-in-law.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley (Bowser) Fominko, who passed away in 2007; brothers, Tony, George, Joseph, and Alex; and sister, Julia.

Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Wednesday, December 4, from 5 – 8 p.m. and Thursday, December 5 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Andy Fominko officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
