I send my sympathy to all the Hastings family. Boyd Hastings was a true gentleman. My parents respected him a great deal and always enjoyed chatting with him at the bank. All of us Buehlers were fortunate that my sister married into the Hastings family, and we got to know special people like Boyd and Mary. They made Morgantown a better place by their being among us. My your memories comfort you.

Uncle Boyd was always one of my favorites!! I have fond memories of being crazy kids with my cousins and how patient he and Mary were with all the racket! I'm glad I got to see him at the reunion. I remember his great sense of humor and the love he had for his family! He will be missed!

To all of the children, spouses and grandchildren I want to send my deepest sympathy. Uncle Boyd was such a sweet gentleman . I always enjoyed talking with him, he had a great sense of humor and I was always astounded with his math games. I loved both of your parents, they were so caring and loving. I have nothing but good memories of them both. I am praying for all of you and I am sorry I couldn't be there with you.
