To the family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that soon God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4) May this promise give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathies.

I have known Karyn for a very long time since joining WVUH. I never saw this girl that she didn't have a smile on her face. Always laughing, always willing to help. Such a beautiful person. Fly with the angels my friend, you will be forever missed.

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Karyn. She was a bright light of joy in my life. She would reach out to me just to say hi. We would joke around and laugh like little girls. She was such an absolute joy in my life. I will miss her so very much. I know she will be missed by so many but mostly by her family. I am blessed to have known Karyn and to be part of her work family.
Knowing she is in a better place with her Father is the only comfort in her loss.

When I think of Karyn, the first word that comes to mind is KIND! Her heart, her smile, her presence, her personality, her work....was all filled with kindness for anyone that came into contact with her. I pray that God's loving arms will comfort her family and friends now and always; as our sweet friend rest in peace. I will miss you dearly SUNSHINE :-)

I met Karyn when I joined WVU Medicine almost 3 years ago as her manager. I immediately loved her. She had one of those big personalities that no one could resist. Kind, caring, dedicated to her work and family. We will miss her dearly. May her family find peace and healing.

Amy, Garth and family. A friend from Florida asked me if I knew anything about Karyn passing. It was such a shock I could not believe that she knew what she was talking about. It is still hard for me to believe she is gone. I knew you kids when you were very young. We never know when God is going to call us home. Karyn is now with your parents and I am sure they had a big reunion. Know that we are here for you and love you. Karen could light up a room with her smile but mostly her kindness would make a person wish they could be more like her.. Karen always had time to listen to whatever you needed to talk about.
