Jenifer and George T,
You know how very close a friendship that Mildred and I enjoyed. She was always ready and eager to go, see and get away on the different adventures which we undertook. We had a wonderful time from the days we went to Canada with Zonta to Florida to visit your Grandmother, to the beach, to yarn shops, to classes in knitting. I miss her, I have missed her for awhile but life changes for all of us. She was my true friend and her illness interfered. It made me so sad.
I apologize for not attending her memorial service but now my illness is in the way; but know that my thoughts are with you and I shall see you soon. Best wishes for coping with such a difficult time and such an extreme loss. She was the strength of your family. Love you both, Judy.
