Dennis R. Baker, Sr., Terra Alta, WV, passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his parents, Verl W. Baker and Geraldine E. Baker, one brother Verl W. Baker, Jr, and one sister Connie S. Humberson. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara A. Baker, a daughter, Rebecca L. Kilgus, Morgantown, WV, a son Dennis R. Baker, Jr. (Jessica) of Mathias, WV and a son Chad W. Baker (Daniell) of Oakland, MD. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Tanner Polce (Shelby) of Dover, DE, Kelsie Hardesty (J.D). of Grantsville, MD, Brady Baker (Tasha) of Terra Alta, WV, Emma Baker of Mathias, WV, Grace Baker of Oakland, MD and Adam Baker of Mathias, WV and one great-granddaughter, Selena Baker of Terra Alta, WV. Also, surviving are one brother, Jerry M. Baker (Melinda) of Oakland, MD, a sister Pamela Shaffer (Rocky) of Oakland, MD and a sister Gloria Holtschneider (Jack) of Niles, OH, as well as several loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be planned at a future date. In keeping with his wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home and online condolences may be made at www.hastingsfuneralhome.com.
