I was Franks neighbor for quite a few years before he moved in with his daughter. He was such a kind, thoughtful man. He loved going to the Senior center, dancing and his garden was always beautifully kept. He loved his family and his church. My life is enriched by having known such a man of honor and integrity. My sincere condolences to his family. Mary Graham

My Uncle Frank was always full of smiles and lit up any room he entered. Growing up, I remember how much fun we had with him, especially at Easter, when he and my dad hid all the Easter eggs in my grandma’s yard for us to hunt down. My mom, his sister Anna Marie, has shared stories about him with us, and all their adventures growing up in Canyon. Even then, he was a character. They didn’t have a lot growing up, but I do know one thing: they all had love. The Marhefka family had love and a sense of caring that they carried with them through-out their lives. I’d like to think some of that has been passed on to me. It’s a wonderful gift.
I didn’t get to spend much time with my uncle. but I loved him as if I did. I always will.
I do know that Heaven just got a whole lot brighter . Let it Shine Uncle Frank, let it shine. I love you. I’ll see you there one day. Don’t try to hide my wings. This time I’ll know to look in the mop hanging on the clothes line.
