Teresa Lynn Brown-Shuler, 57, of Morgantown, West Virginia, died April 26, 2020, at Grafton City Hospital.
Ms. Brown-Shuler was born December 8, 1962, in Morganton, North Carolina to Freddie Brown Sr. and Maebell (Jones) Brown.
She attended Morganton Jr/Sr High School in Morganton, NC. She worked for several years at Dollar General and Burger King in management before her retirement.
Teresa enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping at WAL-MART (known as the Sale Rack Queen) and cooking for others. She was well-known for her Stewed Chicken and Rice.
Teresa was a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. She was known by the members as Momma Tessy.
She is survived by her sons Duvel (Omer) Brown of Colorado Springs, CO; Tremayne Curtis Brown of Morgantown, WV; two adopted daughters Faith Coles and Davena Harris of Morgantown, WV; three sisters Rachel Taylor, Linda Warmer, and Debra Brown all of NC; 3 brothers Nathaniel Brown, James Brown of NC and Freddie Brown, Jr of CA; 10 grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Freddie Brown, Sr. and her mother, Maebell (Jones) Brown.
