Bob Bell was one of the first persons I met when I came to Morgantown and Monongalia County. His dedication to public service and our area was unmatched and inspired many of us. I mourn the loss to our community. Condolences to his family.

Mark, Mike, Tina and Matt:
So sad to read of your father's death in the paper. I remember him well. I would not recognize any of you as I know you are grown and I have not seen you for years. I am not going to attend any of the services as I am older than your Dad was and I think it best to keep myself at home and out of the public. Please know I am thinking of you and I know you will all be sad and will have good and bad days in the future, Just remember the good times you had with him. Bless you and stay safe. Sincerely, Connie Caravasos, (Mark & Michael's mom)

I was saddened to hear the news of Mr.Bell's passing. He used to come to Rite Aid pharmacy on Patteson Drive. He was one of our favorite customers. He was very kind and always had a smile on his face. We enjoyed hearing his stories when he provided security for Elvis and Elizabeth Taylor. He led an interesting life and had a positive impact on many people. My deepest condolences to his family.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Bell. He was always very patient and kind to myself and others. He gave me a job at Big B when I came to him during a stressful time as a teenager. Something I will never forget. Such a good man that always had a smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Bob was a good man! Always engaging and friendly with a cheerful greeting and a kind word. He cared about people, which was reflected by him making important contributions to our community. He provided sound leadership for many years on the Monongalia County Commission. He was an active and devoted member of St. Mary's parish. I had the pleasure of serving with him for a number of years on St. Mary's Finance Council where we benefited from the same qualities that made him a good commissioner. He was steady, knowledgeable about a variety of things, and a good judge of human character. May Bob rest in peace, and receive eternal consolation and joy. Sincere condolences to Donna, Bob's children and all those who loved him.

We lived going to Big B. When my daughter was little, he'd put out his hands and say "come to daddy". Of course she always went because she knew a doughnut was waiting. He lived seeing my face turn red.
