I'm so sorry to hear of Kay's death. She was a mentor to me, and a friend. When she moved from Biochemistry to Surgery, because Dr. Krause was retiring, I took her former job. I had been one of Dr. Krause's graduate students and was going to medical school in a bit over a year. Dr. Krause arranged for Kay to have an ongoing position, and I filled her role until Dr. Krause retired. She was a wonderful person, and as a near 73 year old now, I never will forget her. While it's late coming, my thoughts are with her family. By the way, I know all of her children's names. She spoke of you all the time. She truly was a loving mother. Randolph Canterbury

Dear Beamer family (and especially Andy),
It was a privilege and a pleasure to get to know your mom. I was lucky to get to see her for multiple reasons over the years - whether due to her dedicated service as a poll worker, running into her at the Heritage, and when our service project - the Winter Weather Posse - would do yearly yard sprucing before she moved to the Heritage...she was a fine lady.
We mourn with you, and rejoice she has gone home to God. This scripture from Timothy seems especially appropriate:
"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith..."
Sincerely,
Eleanor (Warsinsky) Green

To the family of Kay Beamer,
I was so sorry to learn of Kay’s passing. I played many hours of bridge with her. She had a wonderful sense of humor. It was such fun to have her at the table and listen to her stories and her expertise. She adored her family and I am sure you will miss her a great deal.
May she Rest In Peace
Sincerely,
Daphne Schreiber

Sarah, John and I were deeply saddened to hear of Kay’s passing. Her smile always shown bright when she entered a room and she was a dedicated and very much appreciated Master Gardener and WVBG volunteer. We will miss seeing her at MG Conferences...she’s a very special lady and we hope your wealth of memories brings you and your family comfort.

To all of Kay's children,
We are so sad to learn that Kay is no longer with us - we shared so much through the years as First Ward neighbors and friends.

I was saddened to hear of Kay's passing into her eternal reward, but although we lost a great person on earth, God gained an angel. I am a member of SSUMC and always remember Kay being so involved with Red Cross. She was always so very happy. Before my Daddy's (Jack Johns) passing, I was a member, with her, of the Adult Fellowship Class. Condolences to you and your family at this difficult time in our journey.
Blessings,
Beverly Sanders (Johns) and the entire family.
