Chuck, Doogie to us, was an outdoors loving man.
Anything hunting, fishing or crabbing and he was in. During the years he lived with us and later when he lived just 5 houses away the men would go out crabbing before dawn. When they returned He was always burnt to a crisp but would get up and go right back out the next day. He relished this and truly enjoyed his life. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. He loved his wife and family and we always had so much fun getting together for reunions, visits and special occasions. He was loved by us all and he will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Doogie’s passing. We have such great memories of you at our wedding. Loved our visit to Waldorf when you and Chuck went crabbing and the kids had to have Kentucky Fried Chicken. We loved sharing dinner with Doggie and Mary Alice in Terra Alta. Chuck mentions all the time the family shared when he was young. And can’t forget the oysters too. God bless!

Chuck was our oldest and only male cousin. He lived with us after the Army and then a block away when we lived in Waldorf. There so many happy memories between crabbing, cutthroat games of Rook, holidays and reunions with the famous baked beans, trips to the beach, and times with Grandma and Pap Pap. We will miss you and Aunt Kay. All our love, Andrea, Skip, Jeremy, Jaclyn and Wyatt

We shared many spaghetti dinners at the Mansion during the Christmas holiday. Always with the fine China and festive decorations. I'll never forget that wonderful time or you Chuck Beatty. RIP.
