Tyrone C. (Rone) Dalton, 82, of Kingwood Pike, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020, at his home. He was born May 23, 1938 in Morgantown, WV, a son of the late Major Roy Dalton and Grace Virginia Hall Dalton. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a custodian at Brookhaven Elementary School for several years before he retired. Tyrone was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church on the Kingwood Pike and he enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rose Marie (Re) Chipps Dalton; daughter, Robin Rozycki and husband, Michael; two brothers, Douglas Irving Dalton and wife, Dana Lee, and Prentess Gene Dalton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Louise McDonald and husband, Wayne, and Kathy and Glenn Dalton, Jr.; god-child, Zachary McMillen; several special nieces and nephews, and granddog, Ralphie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Major Roy Dalton, Jr.; sister-in-law, Clarice Dalton; sister in-law and brother-in-law, Alma McMillen and Wilbur. Tyrone will be laid to rest privately at WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Morgantown Hospice, 3596 Collins Ferry Road, Ste. 250, Morgantown, WV 26505.
