Patricia Ann Dierkes, 87, of Morgantown, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Marietta Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born on May 14, 1933 in Oakland, MD, daughter of the late Percy Lee Forbes and Marie Helen Forbes. Above all, family was most important to Patricia and she always enjoyed spending time with them. Patricia was a member of Spruce Street United Methodist Church, the Wayside Helpers Sunday School class and an avid bowler. She worked as Payroll Clerk of Beaumont Glass Company and a seasonal floral designer at Morgantown Florist. Patricia is survived by her children, Rae Anne Winston and husband, Thomas; James P. Ralston and wife, Patty; and David A. Dierkes and Fiancée, Cindy Goodwin; grandchildren, Michelle Devinney and husband, Mike; Barry Garbrick and wife, Amy; Julianne Winston; T.J. Winston; James Ralston and wife, Stephani; Tiffany Evans and husband Scott; Jacob Dierkes, Jessi Dierkes, and Justin Dierkes; great-grandchildren Amanda Winston, Anthony Goberni, DJ Devinney, John Devinney, Tyler Garbrick, Ethan Garbrick, Tony Mijangos, Gabriel Copney and Slade Longwell; great-great grandchildren, Donevan Donley, Amara Lane, and Briar Rose Lane; and sister, Linda L. Samus and brother-in-law Mervin Daly. In addition, she was survived by her step children, Dwayne Dierkes and wife Brenda (from Charleston, WV) , Darlene Dierkes and husband Lou (Yucaipa, CA) , Bryan Dierkes (Powhatan Point, OH) , Lonna Sodemann and husband Scott (Hilton Head, SC), and Todd Dierkes (Marietta, OH) and many grandchildren.
