When you lose somebody, who remembers you and what you were in elementary school, you do bury a part of your life, a part of your history. I miss her too.

My Aunt was a wonderful person. Always happy to see you and made you feel special. Will miss her at Ford reunion - always looked forward to seeing her and family there. Back in summer of 2018 my mom (Viola) stopped by while driving up route 79 - she was not answering phone - so we decided to stop. No one answered door bell so We proceeded to walk around house - Lo and behold there she was painting the concrete blocks around her basement walkout steps - she had to be 93 at the time. She proceeded to show us her flowers and invited us inside for a chat. Naturally we headed down to that fully equipped basement (I always felt comfortable there) What I remember is how energetic her voice always was and she liked to joke around - she is one very special person and I’m proud she was my moms sister - Rest In Peace

Charlie, Michael, Susan (and families):
My favorite memories of your mom are our lunch dates on Saturdays, going to the dollar store, and ending the day with a game of cards. I would send a text to Susan from Bernadine’s phone: “Hey, going to lunch with Beth, be back later.” (Susan’s response: “Thanks, Beth.”)
I always felt like I was the only one in the room when she spoke to me in a roomful of people. She always asked about my family and how they were doing. Asking her in return, she was more than happy to share stories of her family and brag on her grandkids/great grandkids.
I believe she truly enjoyed the birthday parties that Michael and Marsha had for her, and Michael playing his guitar and singing. She always beamed with a youthful glow; had a beautiful smile; and adored her family, friends, and the good life the Lord gave her on earth. I will miss her presence but always know she is with me in my heart.
Thank you for sharing your mom and her beautiful being with me and my family.
