I remember Cathie's wonderful musical work in the public schools. She was a very talented music teacher who helped her students find the love of music and develop their musical abilities. She has instilled a love of music in her students and her legacy will live on for generations. Cathie's memory will be honored by the outstanding influence she had on so many young people. I send you my condolences and sympathies and hope that your wonderful memories of Cathie will bring you peace at this very difficult time. May God bring you peace and comfort.
I love Cathy with all my heart. She was great we laughed together and gossip together mostly about movie stars. She used to use the same polish when I met her on her toes, I convinced her to go crazy I said Cathy it’s just toenail color we can change it in three or four weeks she laughed and went with it. I gave her polkadots and stripesFor her that was a little crazy. I will always miss her, I love her very much.Thank you so much for being my friend Kathy I love you Rose
Cathy was a wonderful woman. My mother cleaned and was like her personal assistant for 17+ years up to her passing. She also taught my daughter to play piano. She was her teacher for many years. Kaitlyn is play the piano wonderfully n loves having the experience n knowledge she now does where she could even teach another. Cathy was a big part of our lives and will be sadly but greatly missed by all three of us ladies. Meaning myself my mother Louise Humphreys and my daughter Kaitlyn Murray. We feel very fourtunate and so glad we were blessed to of known and had cathy in and apart of our lives over the years. You couldnt ask for a better person to have in your life and as a friend than her. I know my mother has been taking her loss especially hard. She was very close to her and is already missing her terribly.
I worked with Cathie at Mountainview Elementary for several years, she was a wonderful teacher and friend. RIP.... I can only imagine the music in heaven today.

I was saddened to hear of Cathie's passing. She was a charter member of our chapter of the American Guild of Organists, and she also was teacher to my children. She was the loveliest person, and dedicated to music ministry. Rest in peace, Cathie, and may your family be comforted by their memories.
