Please share a memory of Beth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Beth Marie Tallman (Nass), age 33, of Morgantown, WV, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born February 27, 1987 in Erie, PA. She is the daughter of Michael P. and Cheryl L. (Biby) Nass. Beth worked at WVU Medicine close to 13 years; working as an RN in the NICU at WVU Medicine Children's Hospital and most recently at WVU Urgent Care and WVU Student Health as a Nurse Practitioner. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Matthew D. Tallman; her children, Mason M. Tallman and Lyla M. Tallman; her brother, Adam Nass and his girlfriend, Kim, and her sister Colleen Nass; grandparents, Russell Biby, Paul and Irene Nass; father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Kim Tallman; brother-in-law, Josh Tallman and his wife Alyssa; and sister-in-law, Shannon Thornhill and her husband Joe. Beth is also survived by many special extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Norma Biby, her uncle, Greg Biby, and her great aunt, Barbara Harding. Beth was a steadfast Mountaineer, attending WVU for both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in nursing. She valued hard work and exemplified that in every position she held; even receiving numerous awards and recognition. Her friends and family would describe her as their "rock". She was always there when her loved ones needed her, always going above and beyond to help. She was the type of friend you call when you needed a shoulder to cry on, someone to give you advice, or just someone to run to Target with you. Beth enjoyed a good glass of whiskey, spending time with her family and friends, was a shoe connoisseur, and loved catching a good tan at the beach. Above all, Beth loved being a wife to Matt, his best friend, and partner. Becoming a mom to her son, Mason, was what completed her and she was so devoted to him. Beth was so thrilled to learn they would be having their baby girl. She was the type of mom you would look at and hoped you would be when you had kids. She loved her babies fiercely and would do anything for them. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Beth Nass Tallman Memorial Scholarship.
