Phillip "Phil" Gerald Spiker, 62, of Kingwood, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021, at his home. He was born on September 14, 1958, in Morgantown, son of the late William and Helen (Poole)
Growing up, Phil was a member of the Boy Scouts, where he found his passion for hiking and camping. He especially enjoyed taking extended trips to hike through Yellowstone National Park, Dolly Sods, and several places throughout Colorado.
Phil owned the Stadium Inn in Sunnyside in the 80's, and earned a bachelors degree in accounting from WVU.
For more than 30 years Phil was a part of the Nyabinghi Dance Hall/123 Pleasant Street family, a unique blend of special people that he held near and dear to his heart.
Phil is survived by his loving wife, Melissa; their children Wesley Spiker, Benjamin Spiker, Lucas Romano and Lyndsay Romano; three grandchildren; siblings, Barbara and Harold Anderson, and many nieces and nephews.
