Obituary of Jennings Lee Davis

Jennings Lee Davis, 77, of Morgantown, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021, at his residence. He was born on February 16, 1944, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Jennings Floyd Davis and Lula Marie (King) Davis.
He was a 1962 graduate of Morgantown High School and he spent most of his life in Morgantown. He was known as an avid golfer, saltwater fisherman and a skilled pool player.
Jennings retired from a long career as Produce Manager at Giant Eagle. He went on to spend his time enjoying life and cherishing his beloved dogs.
He is survived by his children, Jennings Lee Davis, II and wife, June, and Shelley Lynn (Davis) O'Hara and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Breann and Cheyenne Long; and one brother, Ronald G. Davis and wife, Deanna "Dee".
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Carol Davis; brother, Robert A. Davis and he recently lost his loyal canine companion, Sarge.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 5 – 7 p.m. Service will be held at Hastings Funeral home on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
