Obituary of William James Myers, Sr.

William “Bill” James Myers, Sr., 45, of Morgantown, passed away on September 16, 2021. He was born on June, 15, 1976, in Uniontown, PA, the son of the late Anne Warner. He worked as a maintenance man for Bel Cross Properties for 18 years. In his pastime, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and creating projects with wood. Most importantly, he was known by his family as a loving husband and father. Bill is survived by his wife of 26 years, Crystal (Dalton) Myers; four sons, Billy, Aaron, Matthew and Evan Myers; and one daughter, Angel Myers. He is also survived by two sisters; Debbie Gum and fiancé, Mark Skinner, Roxanne Earle, and sister-in-law Melinda Exline and husband, Brian; mother-in-law, Gail Dalton; an uncle, James Uhler, and wife, Sue; nieces, Brandy Pugh, Jennifer Weaver, Jessica Gum, Kristina Dalton, Sarah Exline, Nevaeh Exline; and nephews, James Catalogna, Joseph Exline, Christopher Exline and Jordan Exline. In addition to his mother, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Myers; maternal grandparents, James and Mae Uhler; stepfather, Thomas Warner; two uncles, Joseph and Robert Uhler; and father-in-law, Jerry Dalton. Friends and family will be received at Nicholson Chapel, Summers School Rd., Morgantown, on Wednesday, September 22nd from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service on Thursday, September 23rd at 11 AM with Pastor Donna Dalton officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist the family at www.givingcompassion.care.
