Please share a memory of Cheryl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Cheryl Stinellis Warsewich, 74, of Morgantown, passed away to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Mon Health Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born on October 20, 1947 in Morgantown, daughter of Fern and Virginia (Sufritz) Stilnellis. Cheryl was a 1965 graduate of Morgantown High School. She was one of the original owners of the Artisan Beauty Shop until the birth of their son. She was a life member of St. Theresa/St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church. She later worked at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School for 15 ½ years in the office. Upon leaving St. Francis School, she went to Suncrest Dental Group as the office manager for 22 ½ years until her retirement. She was a lifetime member of Service League of Morgantown. While a member of St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, she participated in ministries for the linens and counting the Sunday offerings. Prior to those ministries, she participated as an Altar Server, Eucharistic Minister at Church and homebound and member of Parish Council. Faith, family and friends were such an important part of her entire life. She thoroughly enjoyed being around people. She felt that one of the greatest sources of knowledge were the people you encountered daily. They always have something new to offer. She loved shopping and Las Vegas. Organizing gatherings for family and friends was always so much fun for her. Staying busy was very important to her. She would say “I don’t do nothing well.” Cheryl is survived by her caring and loving husband of 50 years, Roger Warsewich, of which they just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. She was also survived by her loving son, Jason Kiley Warsewich, and his wife, Andrea and their children Grace and Jack of Pittsburgh, PA; sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws, Allen Warsewich (Mary Ellen) of Buryville, VA, Patricia Johnson (Richard) of Morgantown, Walt Warsewich (Pam) of Morgantown, and Karen Kohute (Michael) of Newton Falls, OH; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. By abiding by her wishes, her body was donated to the Human Registry of West Virginia Registry. The family will greet friends and family at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane, Morgantown, WV on Saturday, December 11th from 12:00 Noon until the time of the Memorial Mass at 1:00 PM with Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati, STD, VE and Father John V. DiBacco as concelebrants. All guests are asked to wear a facemask for the visiting and service.
