Kate and Jim, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a good friend and neighbor. Always enjoyed going to yard sales with her.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Nancy and I shared apartments in Minneapolis, probably 1966. She took a year off college, and I dropped out. She let me move in with her and we became good friends. She went back and finished up her degree. We kept in touch for years and recently connected on a Zoom call with a few other Carls. I loved her sense of humor, loved listening to her tell stories, and loved her friendship.

Nancy and I shared an apartment in Minneapolis back in the 1960s. We knew each other from living on the same dorm floor freshman year at Carleton College. We traveled to Vancouver one summer, and hitched back through Canada. My favorite person and a dear, dear one.
