So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Perry. He was a great person that I was fortunate enough to know from the baseball fields in Morgantown. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Perry family during this difficult time.

I was so very sad to see that Pete passed away, but I know he's once again reunited with his beloved Helen who he missed so much. I met Pete while working for the Town of Star City and for the fourteen years I worked there, his visits to the business office always brought joy and laughter. He was such a funny guy and had such a sharp wit! And I was always amazed that he was so computer savvy for someone his age--he'd often call to tell me something wasn't working on the Star City website. It was always nice to be sure at least one citizen was actually looking at it! One of the things I missed most when I left that job was the folks I considered my "favorite customers"--Pete was definitely at the top of that list.
Although I've never met any of his family members, he spoke of all of you often and with love. Please know that I share in your grief at the loss of this treasure of a human being.
May his memory be a blessing to you all

Condolences to all my sweet cousins. Uncle Pete will be missed, he could light up the room with his laugh and smile. And he made the best wine and took over cooking just like your Mom taught him. Sending love and prayers. Found a couple Perry pictures I have attached. Love you all,

Sending my prayers and love to the family and all who knew Pete. It was such an honor to be part of his care giving family - I will always remember his laugh and his amazing stories we shared over breakfast or lunch and the late nights we couldn’t stop talking so he could sleep! He always made me feel welcome and appreciated no matter the circumstances! I will miss him immensely and hold him dear to my heart forever! I’ve never met a more compassionate, understanding, accepting family ever and I’m grateful for the time I was able to spend with Pete and all his children! May you rest now with your wife buddy- I will miss you deeply! Heaven gained a unique Angel with you Pete! My condolences to all The Newman Family
