David Ray Clemsic, 77, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at his home. He was born October 20, 1944 in Morgantown, son of the late John Joseph and Leona Hyla (Weaver) Clemsic. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Barbara Swyck and Sandra Lewis. He is survived by his brother, Larry Clemsic and sisters, Cheryl Shank and Debbie Kotova. He was married to his wife of 54 years, Alicia Anne Clemsic, until her death in 2015. He is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Leighty and Sherri England; one son, JD Clemsic and seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his loving companion, Gloria Livengood. He worked at Beaumont Glass Factory for 26 years and Haywood Baker doing heavy concrete work. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, and golfing. He was an avid hunter. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Sunday, July 31st from 2 PM until the time of the funeral service at 4 PM with Pastor M. J.
