Heartfelt Deepest Sympathy & Prayers to Family/ Friends of My Friend Patricia Jo Chico Shaffer, 84, of Morgantown,WV especially her daughter Deborah Lynn Shaffer Turner ( Gary) my Morgantown High School classmate of 1976 , Zachary P. Turner with Brandy Priest Turner and her son Daniel L. Shaffer. For four generations my parents Mary Edith Coddington Templeton & Paul Martin Templeton and I have closely known her family as if they were our family so close the relationships originating from Patricia Jo’s paternal grandparents Paul Chico & Grace Andrea Chico to Patricia Jo’s children Deborah Lynn,Shaffer Turner(Gary), Zachary P. Turner( Brandy Priest Turner) & Daniel I. Shaffer. Patricia Jo’s father Joseph( Joe)!& step mother Mary often shared meals with my family and I usually spaghetti” sghetti”& meatballs , visited/ worked on my maternal grandparents farm and Patricia Jo’s step mom was nurse present when I was born. Patricia Jo’s paternal aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews were my and my parents extended family. Patricia Jo’s maternal grandparents Frank A. Spina & Irene Pratt Spina and their daughter Patricia Jo’s mother Betty Ellen Spina were also close friends. Patricia Jo embodied her strong Faith through active working roles in her Church serving many committees, capacities & the funeral choir many years. Patricia Jo akways had a positive outlook despite personal ir physical hardships & always remembering those she knew as family/ friends with big smike, sparkling eyes, effusive joy relating jokes / stories accompanied with laughter . Psyricua Jo was a joy to be with and her charisma, hutzpah, Elan, panache made each encounter with her Memorabke filled with happiness and joy. Her lasting legacy will live on in all fortunate to know and live her . Niw as an Angel watching over us she will remain in our hearts, minds & souls and each time a songbird sings, a beautiful flower blooms, an animal darts about or butterflies soar each will bring us to smile as we think that-is Patricia Jo signaling hello and to enjoy each/ every one & each day:night. Such Blessings & the Blessing of Patricia Jo Chico Shaffer in each of our lives.
