Obituary of Barbara Lynne Blosser
Please share a memory of Barbara to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Barbara Lynne Blosser, 75, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022, at Mon Health Medical Center. She was born December 9, 1946, in Tunnelton, West Virginia, daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth (Watson) Edwards.
Barbara retired from Mon General Hospital after 35 years of service. During her years of employment, she made several close friends whom she cherished. She was lovingly referred to as B.B. by her co-workers, and her smile was contagious, lighting up a room and her work areas.
Barbara enjoyed traveling and she loved country music. Every summer, she took her family to her favorite places such as the beach and to multiple country music concerts. She was also a regular at one of the largest country music festivals in the U.S. "Jamboree in the Hills".
Barbara is survived by her partner of 42 years, Ricky A Cress of Morgantown; two daughters, Vickie Hoffman and Debra Moore both of Morgantown; two grandsons, Dwayne Campbell and Julian Hoffman of Morgantown; and four granddaughters, Ella Hoffman Audrey Miller, Joslynne and Kaylyn Moore, all of Morgantown. She also left behind her beloved fur baby, Pablo.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas "Sonny" Blosser and a daughter, Julie Kaye Campbell.
Friends and family will be received by Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Saturday, December 10, 2022, to attend Barbara's Celebration of Life beginning at 3 p.m.
