Q: What will you miss most about Nancy?
A: Our morning talks. Mom would send me a text and I would call her and say it is easier to talk instead of texting. We would talk for hours. I will miss that I can’t just pick up the phone to call you or message you to see you while we spent time together. I love you mama and miss you so very much.
I am so thankful that we got to spend time doing things together like Amish trips, going to see grandma Maston, going to William graduation from the army, out to visit them in Texas, our time visiting uncle Vance together, going to help find a place for Chrystal in NC, our many adventures throughout the years with dad and you. I will miss those days. Till I see you again I love you mom

My earliest memory as a young child of Nancy was that she was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. The perception of children has a purity and wisdom that often seems to fade with age, but she remained beautiful to the end. Through my many years of going from and coming to Morgantown she always made it feel like home when I was there. I will miss having her sneak up behind me, full of mischief, in a store and stopping to visit her at home, if you could ever find her there. Shine On.

Condolences to Nancy’s family. She always put her family and extended family first. She was always caring for others.and welcoming to all. I do not think she ever met a stranger. As a cousin she kept everyone informed about family gatherings and happenings and that will be greatly missed.

I met Nancy on a mission trip to McDowell county and realized she had a heart for missions and much love for those in need. A special memory was when she was hospitalized in May,2016. She was on the same floor as my mother and I would go to her room where she gave me words of comfort and encouragement. Her smile and laughter were lovely. God certainly has His arms wrapped around her as she is immersed in brilliant light and tangible love.

Nancy you are going to be so missed by me . I fell in love with you the first time you walked into my hair salon. We became sisters and you watched out for me from that day on . Dance with the Angels but stay out of trouble . Love you more than you know . ❤️

Nancy was my mentor as I became more involved with the business side of Morgantown Area Meals on Wheels. I will miss her smile and giggle. To the family, I am sorry for your loss.
