Obituary of Juanita Marie Price

Juanita Marie Foy Price passed away peacefully at her home in Morgantown on January 23, 2023, after a brief illness. Born June 2, 1939, to the late Lillian Dalton and Emory Foy, she grew up in the Brown's Chapel and Halleck communities alongside her eight siblings. She married John C. Price of Morgantown on December 24, 1960, and the couple raised three children together. She was a longtime congregant of Johnson's Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her cats. She is remembered for her love of family, infectious laugh, and generous spirit. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, and her three brothers—James Foy, Norman Foy, and Randy Foy. She is survived by her son, James Michael Foy of Las Vegas, NV and wife Norma; daughter, Gina Price Satterfield of Independence, WV and husband Richard; and son, Johnboy Price of Morgantown and wife Marsha. She is also survived by her aunt, Meda Trimble; sisters: Joann Foy, Sue Elli, Debra Foy, Nancy Billie, and Rebecca Reckhart; grandchildren: Joshua Foy, Randi Foy, Jacob Foy, Elizabeth Satterfield, Jack Satterfield, and Larissa Price; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV on Saturday, January 28, 2023, from 4p.m. – 7p.m. Visitation will continue on Sunday from 1p.m. until the service at 2p.m. with Pastor Lawrence W.
