Lon was truly a Renaissance Man. He was extremely well-read, usually reading two books at a time. Further, he was a master carpenter, electrician, plumber, and HVAC technician. Literally, he could fix anything. Lon was extremely generous with his time in helping my wife and me with various fix-it projects over the years.
Lon was a gentleman’s gentleman. He treated all with respect and dignity. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
I am proud to be able to say that he was my good friend, and I miss him every day.
Rest in Peace, my dear friend.
