We are so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed talking with Patti at family gatherings; catching up on her life. Her career was very interesting. Her interest in genealogy and her travels to further her family genealogy research provided lots of discussion. When I was in 7th or 8th grade Patti was my substitute teacher for one of my classes. Fortunately I answered her questions correctly.
Our family is so appreciative of her work on our father’s book recording his experiences as a POW during WWII.
Several years ago Patti had some eye issues that a glass of Merlot was recommended as a possible remedy. She enjoyed her Merlot and in her memory I will toast her with a glass.
She will be missed. May all of you be comforted as she rests in the arms of our loving Father.
