I always enjoyed talking to Alvin when I would stop by or he would come to our house. He always had that big smile and he was able to keep us up on all the "goings on" in the neighborhood. Good man, wonderful neighbor and he will be missed.

When the weather was pleasant Mr. Alvin would let me know he was out on the porch so I could bring the dogs down for a visit. My dogs loved to go sit on his porch. I really enjoyed the special times I had with him. Alvin was a very good neighbor and friend. Our neighborhood will not be the same without him.
