Oh, what a bright light extinguished. She was as emotionally intelligent as anyone I've ever known. I was lucky enough to call her a friend since Junior High (Middle School), with, unfortunately, the loss of contact that life in full career too often brings. And lucky enough to spend time with her again while she was on Crestview Drive. When I told my younger sister about Judy, she read the lovely obituary, and texted that how she remembered Judy was in her corduroy Mohiganette outfit as cute as she could be with the same sweet smile as the photo. Yep. Judy on one end and Woody on the other. My sympathy to her beloved sons and sisters--and all those who enjoyed her delightful company over the years.
