One hot summer day, we were cutting the brush along the Hollow road & stopped to cut the lot beside the shop. Angie came out of the driveway as she was going to visit the grandkids. She stopped & was so concerned that we were working in the heat. She left....only to return with 2 large Ice Tea!! She was a very thoughtful, caring friend & neighbor and we will remember her always. Angie was such an old soul. She was funny, her laugh was infectious, her smile could light up a room, and she'd help anyone who needed it. I'm sorry that we didn't get to see each other as much as I'd liked, but when we did see each other, we'd pick up where we left off and chat about many different things. She will be missed by many. RIP my old beer buddy. 'Til I see you again my friend.
I was so sadden to hear of Angie’s passing. I became friends with Angie and her sisters, many moons ago, during church camp meeting so for several summers a week of girl fun was had. My most vivid Angie memory was when she took the wheel, for the first time, to drive. In true Angie style it was pedal to the metal. You can only imagine our reactions! Angie was full of fun and mischief and I couldn’t wait for the next summer camp to arrive. My heartfelt condolences to Angie’s family, sending love and prayers.
We are so sorry for the loss of a greatly loved and integral member of the family and as well as her large circle of friends. There are no words that can take away the heaviness of your heart or the pain of losing Angie. She was taken far too soon.

BTW I had black liquice today in your honor. The only person I know that could sit down and eat a whole bag of black liquice. Oh! Remember when I brought good and plenty's? Once you found out they had black liquice you were hooked. Oh! Angie you were definitely one of a kind. Unforgettable.

Angie was an old friend back when she lived on Maryland Avenue. I then ran back into her when she worked for the sun papers. Always a great lady this saddens me greatly.

There will never be another soul like Angie. We shared a special bond trying to rescue the animals of downtown Fairmont. To know her was to love her.
