Harold R. (Pappy) Anderson, son of the late Ethel (Howell) Field and Ralph Anderson, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family and dedicated caregivers. Harold was born May 3, 1935, in Uffington, WV. He is survived by his wife, of 31 years, Barbara (Spiker) Anderson; three daughters, Shelia Anderson, Lynn Bassard and Timi (Dwayne) Ridgeway, all of Morgantown; four grandchildren, Lauren Blackwell, of CA., Lindsay (Adia) Ridgeway of Mannington, WV, Dalyn (Kayla) Ridgeway, Ethan Ridgeway of Morgantown; and two great grandchildren, Xeno and Eliana. At Harold’s request, there will be no viewing. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Goshen Road on Tuesday, May 23rd beginning at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Karen Austin officiating. A special thank you to Amedisys of Morgantown, Michael Hess and Angie Nicholson for providing such great care for Harold.
