Dear Kelly and Phil,
We were not fortunate to meet your dear brother, Carter.
The Adult Sunday School Class, New Perspectives, that Phil attends in Indianapolis has prayed for Carter over the months (and years). Please know that you and your family members and being prayed for during this sorrow-filled time.
Romans 15:13 " May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace in believing that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises"
Carter is with His Savior and LORD; and this is a true comfort.

Our love and deepest sympathy to Kay, Jerry, Kelly and family. Carter will always be in our hearts. His integrity and caring nature were readily apparent. It is wonderful that Carter was surrounded with love and support from his parents, family and friends. Many memories include visits involving Mountaineer and Steelers games, playing and watching golf and evening food runs to his favorite places. May our fond memories and knowing he is in God's hands will provide comfort.

There was one thing in Carter's life that was true and constant: his love of his family and particularly his Mom and Dad. Yes, he loved his sports especially WVU sports but that was secondary to his love for his Mom and Dad. And they loved him very much in return. They sacrificed for him all his life, but it was a sacrifice that they gladly took on. You will be forever on our minds and thoughts, Carter, because the love you shared with us is undying and constant.
