Denver H. Waggoner, 48, of Walton, WV, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023, at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 6, 1975, in Roane County, son of the late Ancil and Valery (Criner) Waggoner.
His passion included dirt track racing, working on cars, hunting, mudbogs, monster trucks, collector of guns and tools along with hanging out with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexis M. Waggoner of Hurricane, WV, sister, Robin White of Spring Lake NC; nephew, Tyler Hunter (Crissy) of Charleston, WV, and nieces, Brittany Gomez (Brian) and Olivia Hunter of Spring Lake, NC; great nephews, Lucas Gomez and Asher Hunter; one great niece, Avery Gomez as well as many close family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Denver is preceded in death by his baby brother, Robert Waggoner and brother-in-law, Sean White.
Hastings Funeral Home is entrusted with cremation arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
