It saddens me to see the news of the passing of Jennifer. I grew up in Woodburn and was friends of the Jacobs family. They lived on Louise Ave. and I lived on DesMoines Ave. I knew and played with Jay, both in the neighborhood and through athletics at MHS. Mr.Jacobs clothing store was a gathering place for many of us during high school. I knew both Jennifer and her sister Judy very well. My condolences go out to her family, I am so very sorry for your loss. The Jacobs family has always held a special place in my heart. May the Good Lord be with the entire family during this very difficult time.

The sentiments included in the obituary are absolutely on point. Jennifer was simply a wonderful person. I’ve know her since we were 15 years old and she was always comfortable to be around. She had parties at her home during our formative years and I still think of this frequently.. I’ll certainly miss Jennifer. Great person !
