It’s been nearly 1-year since the Lord called home my Father. We who remain find great comfort in God’s promise…
"So it will be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body."
(1 Corinthians 15: 42-45).
I am thankful for having had my Father in this life; but even more, I am eternally grateful for this resurrection. By the grace of God, we shall all someday reunite in glory, together with our Lord and the heavenly Angels. Thanks and praise be to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Over the more than 20 years that I knew Mr. Blaney our relationship evolved from landlord-tenant to trusted friends. His was an exemplar character: honest, fair, competent and generous.

I was Mr. Blaney's mail carrier years ago and I will never forget the kindness I was shown day after day for the many years I spent working in his neighborhood. He always had a smile and a wave for me and would often share pleasant conversation which made a sometimes long and difficult day much more endurable. I wish his family peace in their hearts. He was a kind and gentle soul and I know he now rests comfortably . Condolences . Jane Stewart

My Uncle Bob was such a kind and loving man. He was generous and thoughtful and always had time for me even when I was a little girl. He was only about nine years older than me. We could talk about our faith as adults and he had a great faith and love for our Lord. I love you so much Uncle Bob and I will see you again with all of our loved ones. Joyce

I’m so blessed to have had the time I had with my pop pop ❤️ I have nothing but good memories of him and will appreciate them for the rest of my life. Whether it was visiting him in Morgantown when we were young and always knowing there would be entenmann’s donuts there to eat or having him there for a first look at my wedding I am very grateful for those special times. He will be greatly missed.
