I met Sam while working in McMurray, PA back in the 90's. He was a dear friend to me and my family and we spent a lot of time together. I enjoyed Sam's intelligence, wit and compassion toward others. He was a damn good friend and I have missed him dearly. My sincerest condolences.
My Condolences to Tawnya , Max, Jonah, and June. Sammy was an incredible person . We had a great lasting relationship that lasted 51 years and for the most part stayed in touch. We would try to golf at least once a year at CedarBrooke Golf course and meet for breakfast usually around his birthday like we did this past March at Bob Evans. His passing comes at a shock to me but I will look back and remember the good times we had listening to our favorite music on Vinyl, golfing and talking about life in general. I miss you my friend , you where like a brother to me!
People keep telling me not to worry because I will find the love of my life. Someone that will love me forever, unconditionally.
Truth is, I already found that person a long time ago. I am so fortunate and thankful to have experienced real love. Sam was the most genuine, loving man and the best father. He never did anything to hurt me. I don't even think he ever even lied to me. We just weren't meant to cohabitate. He was an organized, pissy Italian and I am a messy, spoiled white girl. We only proved and furthered our love for each other by separating.
There will never be another Sam. No one has or will ever compare to him. I'm okay with that.
Thank you for loving me unconditionally and proving to me that love can last forever. We miss you so very much.
