Deepest condolences to the family of Bernice Woods Brown, my beloved Soror and line sister in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. From our initiation into the sorority together nearly three decades ago, Bernice had always been a kind and loving sister...bringing exuberance and warmth wherever she found herself. The fond memories created with Bernice will forever be cherished...she will truly be missed. I am so sorry to hear about the transition of my friend/Soror Bernice Woods Brown. We met in New Jersey while she was a school facilitator in Newark Public Schools and I was on the NJDOE transition team. We immediately connected and became great friends. We attended Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. events and were roommates at the Convention in Las Vegas. Bernice moved to GA first and I would visit her when I would travel to GA. After my family moved to GA, Bernice was the person who showed me around and helped me find the best places to shop. She also invited me to several activities that the Marietta/ Roswell Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta held. I am so thankful for the relationship we shared and send my deepest condolences to her family. I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.

My Condolences to the family. Bernice is my Line Sister of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She was an amazing women. My memory is I loved her style and class but she was down to earth. Always smiling and had kind words for our line. I was visiting my friend Angela Coppedge in Atlanta and we bumped into each other at her church. It was meant to be. I just cried because I was so happy to see her. I love her

Our sincerest condolences to the family of our beloved friend Bernice. She was an outstanding managerial employee at Zion Baptist Academy, and very much loved by the students and employees. She served admirably in her role, and it was so very obvious that the safety and wellbeing of the students was her priority. We will miss her humor, and beautiful smile.
