So sorry for your loss. I worked with Louise back in the 80’s . I decorated her Xmas tree all In crystal and prayed I didn’t break anything. I have had the pleasure of such good craftsmanship on removing wallpaper which the two brothers had put up. Finding their signature was a surprise. The family was well loved in the community. I met them through working for their mother Burl on Monongahlia Ave. she taught me a lot. I was 20 . I had a bad case of poison ivy and nothing worked. She had told me what she did for her twins that worked. She had bath them in spic and spam. I did it and it worked. Needed a lot of lotion. Great memories with her, Louise, Hazel, and Ergill Maust. Take care

Ward & family,
Heartfelt condolences to you. Your Dad & Uncle were well known & well loved by most of Morgantown.
It’s always so fun to peel off 50 year old wallpaper & find their signature!
Truly, the end of an era.❤️

My uncle Lonnie was a very special person to our family, and we will remember him for his unconditional love, devotion to family and God, his work ethic, his many acts of kindness, and humility. He was fun and easy to be with, always interested in how you were. Lonnie was a good man.
Growing up Lonnie lived next door and was a big part of my life and I thought of him as my second Dad. He was always there with a smile and ready to help if needed.
My dad and Lonnie took us ice skating and our families went on many picnic together, and we were always visiting in each others homes.
Lonnie had a workshop and like to make models of houses and he made beautiful and unique birdhouses.
He worked in his yard and drove his car until he was 97.
Our hearts are truly broken and we will miss Lonnie, he was very much loved and respected by all who knew him.

For the last 23 years we have enjoyed being his neighbors just around the corner on Charles Ave. Lonnie and his brother Donnie were both outstanding individuals and great neighbors. My wife Debi and I always admired Lonnie's commitment to walking and getting exercise. I believe it contributed to his long life. Lonnie was always a joy to visit with and truly enjoyed life. The neighborhood will forever miss Lonnie and Donnie.

Lonnie and I were porch sitting buddies. We both
loved watching the birds and just relaxing on his porch. We ate dessert before dinner often and shared laughs. I'm sorry for the loss of this sweet soul. Condolences to his family.

I will never forget my "Breakfasts with the Boys" at Ruby's and Ketchy's. And Lonnie was one of the finest gentlemen I ever met there. He had an endearing smile. His love for family, work ethic and service to our Country reminded me of my own father, who lived until he was 96. My sympathies to Ward and the rest of Lonnie's family and friends.
