Bill never missed a Boy Scout Sunday at Community UMC where he attended as a retired United Methodist Minister. He shared a story about how time in Scouting gave him opportunities to appreciate the beauty of this world as a gift of God's creation. This strengthened his faith. Observing a particularly beautiful sunset he told a scout about his faith. Who knows what happens to seeds of inspiration nurtured in such moments. Bill, this story inspired me. Lisa Crone Sheldon
Dear Mrs. Kinsey, I am so very sorry for your loss of your beloved Bill! I remember him fondly as he was very nice to me throughout my many, wonderful years singing in choirs for you at St. Theresa's. I also recall how he was always so kind to send you with Lance snacks for our Girls Ensemble road trips. I pray for Christ's peace, strength, and comfort to be with you and all of your family! My deepest condolences to Donna and all of Pastor Bill's family, on this great loss. I had the honor to serve with him for several years while at SUMC. Bill was always pleasant and positive, and filled with visions of God's kingdom in his preaching. He truly cared about the well-being of others. May God welcome him and comfort his family.
