Dear Wotring and Warsinsky family,
I looked up to my sister's friends. Their spirit, optimism, work ethic, and loyalty to one another made them wonderful role models for me growing up 15 years their junior. I'll never forget "Wotring" -- she was the friendliest and peppiest of them all!
Your dear Barbara and my sister Barbara (Bootzie) were friends as Wesley kids, MHS '49ers, Mountaineers, and new Ashtabula teachers sharing an apartment. Both married men they met in Ashtabula. My sister lived there for 70 years, but they remained long-distance friends. It's not surprising to me that they passed into eternal life within six weeks of each other.
My fondest memory of Barbara was her 80th. birthday party. I saw years melt away before my eyes as your Barbara hugged Bootzie! They were young at heart. We enjoyed reminiscing and making new memories that afternoon, all dressed in gold and blue.
With heart-felt sympathy to you all for your loss,
Sue Ellen Buehler Ulrey

Dear Leah, Eleanore, Susie & Becky,
We will miss Barbara, our dear neighbor and friend.
When the weather was fair, our walks through the neighborhood always included a pass by her house and hope for a chance encounter. We recall so many times in years past when a walk on Madison turned into a long visit with Ed, Barbara, you girls and Aunt Eleanore - dinner could wait!
We are so sorry that we can't be with you this weekend to share farewells and memories. With our own family scattered to the wind, we have planned an early Christmas gathering at Canaan from Thursday through Monday. We will think of all of you as you honor your mom and send her on her way to the arms of your dad.
With love,
Margaret & Mike

I worked for Barb and Ed Warsinsky at Warsinsky Decorators. They never treated me like an employee. They made me feel like part of the family. It was truly a pleasure to work with them. They always went out of their way to make me feel important in little ways that meant so much. They would call me into the office and ask me if I thought WVU would win the game that night or not just to have a conversation.
They would love to remind me when MHS would beat UHS. I am really going to miss Barb - such a wonderful lady!!

Barbara was one of the kindest and sweetest people I knew. I got to know her first through her daughter Eleanore , but also loved seeing her while I attended Wesley UMC. One of the things Barbara and I would laugh about was constantly running in to each other at the Giant Eagle on Green Bag road. It would always take us a bit longer to grocery shop because we would stand and chat in the dairy aisle. I know my late husband Brian is celebrating with her in Heaven now. He loved her too!
Barbara was one of the best!! She will be missed.

We first met Barbara as MHS band parents. Barbara was a well loved P.E.O. sister for many years. When my husband and I joined Wesley Methodist, she was one of the first persons to welcome us. As a P.E.O., she exemplified our cardinal virtues in her life and her service to our sisterhood. Chapter B will miss her and her beautiful smile.
