Johnny, Donna and family,
It is with heavy heart we write this letter of condolence. You have been in our prayers since we learned of Nick’s passing. May your happy memories surround you and your faith lift you as you prepare to celebrate Nick’s life on the 28th. A donation has been made to St. Ursula’s Food Pantry in Nick’s name to honor his desire to support those who are struggling.

Donna, Sharon Murray here. I just wanted to let you and your family know how deeply saddened I was to learn of your son’s death. Please know that my prayers go out to you and all your family for comfort and peace in the days to come.
Donna, you may remember me from our days of working together on diabetes projects when I was a diabetes nurse educator in WVU Family Medicine many years ago.
I remember sitting outside in recovery and talking to Nick. We would talk about recovery and life. He was 1 step further in recovery than I was and was living in a house. He would come to our apartment and let me know he was there by texting me or having someone get me. We had more than one conversation about his interest in a girl. I knew he really liked her but I told him he was better than that. He was like a son to me. If I would have been 20 years younger though then this would have been a completely different memory.
