Vivian had the best smile and laugh! One of the sweetest ladies I came to know for the short time she lived at Evergreen Assisted Living. I arranged several different friends to entertain the residents there and when Viv came up, she would sing the songs she knew and thoroughly enjoyed each performance! I miss her (and seeing her dedicated son, Dave, who visited her every day! He was a blessing for her!

Vivian Spencer, or Aunt Vi, as she was known to my siblings and me, was always a pleasure to visit with. Her passing is truly the end of an era. For decades, every visit to Morgantown always included a visit to see dear Aunt Vi. Her home on Legion Street was a place of joy and memories. Though she has passed and the house has new owners, every room of the home and the pictures, mementos, and such will be forever etched in my memory. Vivian Spencer was not just a devoted and loving wife to her husband James, my uncle, she was also a wonderful mother to Nancy and David, my cousins. Every visit was laughter-filled, and I will forever treasure those gatherings in the den where we would all sit around talking. I started making my annual trek up to Morgantown in recent years, and I'm so glad I did. Rest in peace, dear Aunt Vi. Thank you so much for your kindness and smiles over the decades.

So very sad to learn this news, Nancy and family. What a wonderful life she had! And I am sure the good Lord welcomed her with, “Well done, good and faithful servant!” Hugs and prayers to you all.
