I was introduced to Edwin "Leo" Darnell, or "Pap" as I affectionately called him, at the defiant age of 18. Over the years, we enjoyed many spirited debates, but always parted with a hug. For though gruff and opinionated on the outside, inside he cared deeply for his friends and family. He would likely gripe at you, but you could always count on him to show up in his own way. He will be sorely missed.
