Obituary of S. Andrew Price

S. Andrew Price, 46, passed away Tuesday, March 5th, 2024. Andrew was born July 19, 1977, in Morgantown, the son of George F. (Rick) Price and Shelia Hofer Voorhees. Andrew was a 1995 graduate of Emerson Senior High School in New Jersey. He was a GIA trained gemologist in New York City from 2004 through 2009, and most recently was a customer service associate with First Energy Corp of Fairmont. Andrew is survived by his mother, Shelia Hofer Voorhees, his maternal grandmother, Viola Faye Hofer of Morgantown, and four nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph A. Hofer, his father, George (Rick) Price, and two brothers, Shawn F. Price and Benjamin C. Price. Andrew was very artistic and enjoyed making things with his hands, especially bottle lamps and woodworking. He also enjoyed target shooting.
