Norma Jean Keener Rohozen, 73, of Morgantown, WV passed away on Sunday, April 14th, 2024 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Wilbert Otis Keener and Marion Shisler Keener. Norma graduated from Morgantown High School in 1968, later becoming the office manager for Amedisys Hospice. She was a member of St. Mary's Orthodox Church where she sang in the choir. Among many other things, Norma especially loved cooking and baking. Norma is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Rohozen, Jr.; son, Jan Jacob Rohozen (Michelle); grandchildren, Quinton and Garrett Rohozen; siblings, Shirley (Raymond) Corwin, Ronald Keener, and Karen Sue Guminey (Robert); as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by siblings, Roberta Corwin, Paul E. Keener, JoAnn Rockis, Darrell Keener, and James Keener. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Sunday, April 21st, from 2PM until the time of Panachida at 5PM. Visitation will continue at St. Mary's Orthodox Church, 19 West Park Ave., Westover, on Monday, April 22nd from 10AM until the time of the funeral service at 11AM, with Rev. Fr. Thomas Slosky officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to St. Mary's Orthodox Church, 19 West Park Ave., Westover, WV 26501.
