On October 15th, 1994, we sat at Damons for Shirley’s birthday. Watching the WVU-Pitt game, with her favorite, an onion loaf ,unless there was a funnel cake or a ribeye steak sandwich available !! There were lots of laughs and smiles as WVU built a big lead. When Pitt scored with 38 seconds to go to take the lead, we left. On the way home we heard WVU had won and laughed , at how crazy that seemed. That was “Snay”, making every occasion brighter. Her greatest gift though, was always seeing the best in her close friends, whether they deserved it or not. Walk among the stars Dear and may every tune be your favorite song which would mean plenty of Kenny Rogers . Your memory and all the times, the many talks we shared ,will last forever. Love you my sweetest friend.
