Obituary of David Alan Helmick

David Alan Helmick, 62, of Morgantown was reunited with his wife on August 19, 2024. David was born on September 26, 1961, the son of the late Delbert and Betty Helmick. David was a retired coal miner and police reserve. He enjoyed bowling, collecting coins, spending time with friends and family and his dog Rocky. David is survived by his beloved dog Rocky, his sons, Jeremy Helmick; David Helmick; Kenneth James; and Denver James; grandchildren, Jackson and Blayke Helmick; Andrea James; Gabby James and her daughter Anastasia; girlfriend, Patty Woodward and his brother Wayne Helmick. In addition to his parents David is preceded in death by his beloved wife Irene Helmick In accordance with David's wishes cremation services are being provided by Hastings Funeral Home.
