Obituary of William "Bill" Eugene Miller

William "Bill" Eugene Miller, age 73 of Morgantown, was reunited with the love of his life Debra Kay Miller, on August 31, 2024. Bill was born March 2, 1951, the son of the late William A. and Mary L. Miller. He enjoyed working at West Virginia University as a farm worker. He received employee of the year in 2006 and retired in 2015. After retirement, he devoted his time to his family. Bill was a simple living man. Every evening he watched American Pickers and King of the Hill with his fuzzy-faced best friend, Lolly, with endless belly rubs and treats. Affectionately known as Dad, Pap, and Pops, William is survived by daughters, Mary Miller (Justin Pride) and Christina Miller (Miguel DeJesus) of Morgantown; grandchildren, Shanelle Miller of Spring Hill, FL, Kaitlyn Pride (Chris Christner) of California, Pa, Donavan Rodriguez (Allyson Rodriguez) of Severance, CO, Abby Pride (David Burnley), Angel Rodriguez (Edie Cowne), and Gabriella Rodriguez, all of Morgantown. Pappy was also blessed with five amazing great grandchildren, Cora and Cordell Haddix, Cameron Christner, Elliana Burnley and Dante Rodriguez. Bill also had very special friends, the Murray family, who are very dear to his heart. He will be so very missed by many. A special thank you to Dr. John and nurse Angie at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV 26505 on Thursday, September 5, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, September 6, from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at noon with Pastor Ray Frankhouser officiating.
